If you want to be healthy as well as fit, a plant-based diet will get you there quick. A vegan weight loss diet creates the perfect biochemical environment in your body for vibrant, radiant health and rapid weight loss.
A nutrient dense, low fat, low calorie vegan diet is the fastest, healthiest weight loss diet ever. Animal based foods are calorie dense and nutrient poor and our bodies have absolutely no nutritional requirements for any animal products.
We do not need to eat animal muscles (meat) or the mammary secretions from animals (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.). According to T. Colin Campbell, PhD, author of the book The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-term Health, There are virtually no nutrients in animal-based foods that are not better provided by plants. In fact, we are actually much healthier and skinnier when we completely eliminate animals from our diets and eat only whole, unprocessed plant-based foods. Make Your Life Amazing-Choose a Vegan Weight Loss Diet and Be Vibrant, Healthy and Strong!

Ephedra and Ephedrine diet pills are scientifically proven to melt fat and raise metabolism without diet or exercise.
Xenadrine RFA-1, Metabolife 356, Hydroxycut, Metabolift, and more.
HEAT ECA Stack will give you the strong stimulant effect of pharmaceutical grade diets. Contains also Cayenne Pepper, the secret ingredient Beyonce used for her role in “Dreamgirls.” It is all natural and will not give you the side effects of the pharmaceutical ones. Click on my name below.

@VibrantVegan Oh and i heard about the book but i learned about metabolic typing at mercola’s website… One more question, how come there is people that easily gain a lot of weight on a high fruit diet when others eat just fruit alone and don’t gain weight at all ? Its called carb types.
June 12, 2011 at 5:58 am
@VibrantVegan Well i know many people that loss weight and feel great on the raw vegan diet just like i know others that got sick and loss a lot of energy during the raw vegan diet that are now on a high protein diet eating organic grass fed meats and raw eggs with raw dairy and they also loss weight and feel great, explain that to me.

@dbloodline Read the metabolic typing book by William Wolcott. I have never seen any convincing science on the subject. Wolcott doesn’t provide any and so far neither does anyone else. Deciding ones metabolic type is based on a subjective self-test. We are all human though and evolved as folio-frugivores. We are still healthiest when we eat greens and fruit.

@VibrantVegan I don’t know if you familiar with metabolic typing but some individuals do need more protein than others just like others need more carbs… Let’s not be dogmatic about healthy eating.

@azgirl777 Your protein needs are dependent on your weight and activity level. As a general rule, if you are eating enough whole, unprocessed vegan food to satisfy your hunger you will be getting enough protein. Protein deficiency is unknown in well fed people. It is a non-issue. I have been vegan for 16 years and haven’t used a protein supplement yet!

The page for the energy meal plan is not working on your website, I want to follow a meal plan to lose weight, I am currently a vegearian who wants to be a vegan but I dont know where to start, I know i need protein. Please help thanks and have a good day.

I have a question…do you need to drink a protein supplement on a vegan diet? I’ve heard that soy in America is genetically modified and not that healthy for you… so what do we do for protein? I’m confused about this. How much protein do we REALLY need a day? I’m so confused by the “education” I’ve received regarding anything that has to do with health so I’m not even sure if what my doctor tells me is correct. What does a vegan do to ensure enough protein (something that tastes good?)
June 12, 2011 at 8:57 am
@azgirl777 to eat meat for protein and dairy for calcium. They even advertise for us to eat dairy for weight loss. I keep struggling and struggling. I just started a program thru my church called Devoted Bodies, only because another girl in my group looks amazing and lost a lot of weight. She looks vibrant and healthy… it is a vegan diet! So now I want to learn about this & make changes. I want to be healthy!!! I’m so sick (literally) of doing the wrong things. Thanks for this info!

Hi! Okay… I’ve never even thought about this but I’ve tried every diet… even Atkins and I don’t even like meat all that much, but I had to eat nothing but meat on that diet. I did lose weight but I wonder about my health. All I would eat was meat and cheese and sugar free popsicles and pudding. I could not eat that way forever so I gained back weight. I want to be healthy and I feel like I’ve been lied to. I’ve been so confused about nutrition because our education in the US tells us…

@PrankCentral101 you disagree with the fact that unrefined greens are low in calories? it’s the lowest calorie food you can eat! As far as nutrients go, they may not have a lot of macronutrients (then they wouldn’t be low calorie) but they have tons of micronutrients (vitamins and minerals).

my parents would never let me be vegan =[

I find the resistance to veganism surprising too. I mean you aren’t hurting anyone. It seems there is resistance to almost anything healthy. “Getting ready to start an exercise program? No, don’t do that, you will just get injured. Thinking of giving up alcohol? No, you won’t have any fun.” I always say if you want standard American health, live the standard American way-eat junk and stay on the couch.
I saw Flight live this year. It was fantastic!

I love your enthusiasm. I recently became vegan, it’s surprising how much resistance there is to making that change.
Flight of the concords is awesome ^^

Right on! A diet based on fruits and veggies rocks.
June 12, 2011 at 1:18 pm
Do you disagree with something specific I said or are you saying everything I said was incorrect? In the words of Flight of the Concords, “Be more specific with your feedback.” I am pretty sure everything I said was right on.
June 12, 2011 at 2:10 pm
your information is incorrect. maybe do a little research before you say something that is completely wrong…
June 12, 2011 at 2:24 pm
So the best diet is based on greens…and fruits…
