Possible Causes of Rapid Weight Loss
Article by Alex Green
In today’s image conscious world many people have succeeded in sculpting their physiques to make them look healthy and desirable, however, this is not attained overnight but for some people, patience is not a virtue. They want to rush the process by any means and the consequences don’t seem to matter. The use of rapid weight loss systems may be more commonplace but that doesn’t mean they work, especially not in the long term.
Fast-track diets are one of these rapid weight loss practices which may not be as inviting as they seem according to research. These rapid weight loss programs only seem to be of any use while someone remains on them as generally the pounds pile back on when as soon as they are stopped.
The truth is that low-cal, low-carb diets do not work in the long term as our bodies cannot work efficiently for long periods of time with this type of limited nutritional diet. Now research is showing that rapid weight loss is probably more attributable to body water loss and not body fat that the diet companies would have you believe.
I am sure you can see the problem with this being that any water that is lost can be replaced which is obviously disheartening for anyone that thinks they have lost weight. Water loss on a large scale can also dehydrate the body and science tells that you can only lose on average two pounds of excess fat per week.
One of the latest ideas to hit the rapid weight loss market is the slimming soap which promises the user that if used on all the body during a bath then the soap will emulsify and shed the body fat; it is also claimed to be completely natural and only contains a mixture of herbs and seaweed. The ingredients may prove to improve the quality of the skin but no research has ever come up yet which aids to prove the efficacy of these ingredients in emulsifying excess body fats.
A more recent product to hit the weight loss market place promises much with increased energy and hunger suppression. More than this, the manufacturer also claims that helps with the body’s self healing mechanism and reduces some pains but is sounds more like a fashion accessory.
The reason for this lies in the magnets effect on the body’s own magnetism and magnetic field which makes all these benefits possible. Though press releases say that there are actually studies to back these assertions up, no articles, scientific studies or reviews have been submitted to any medical journals.
To finish it is well wroth pointing out that, easy-come-easy-go, meaning that nothing worthwhile is ever that simple to achieve.
